8 Paw Fur Boys Bakery

I've always loved to bake and dreamed of having a bakery or a donut shop someday. Early this year my job was eliminated. A few weeks later my other half had a stroke. The first couple of weeks I stayed at the hospital but when they moved Dan to the rehabilitation facility for speech and physical therapy I couldn't stay. I visited during the day and at night I started making Dog treats to pass the time. My resident taste testers are Duke our Australian Cattle Dog and our rescue kitty RIP (yes, he too is named after one of our favorite TV characters). Over the next month I would perfect about 6 dog treat recipes that I felt were unique and tasty. Tasty that is based on my quorum of family taste testers. I quickly added my son's two rescue huskies Susie Q and Cedar The Tree Eater and my daughter's dogs that live just up the street Chihuahua Mary Jane and Schnauzer Cookie.

I quickly confirmed that our healthy, organic, dye free recipes were a success with the Fur Babies of the family. Yes, they all have their favorite dog treat, but love them all. Of course, this Mom Mom (that's what my Grandkids call me) is sure to spoil the Fur Babies too.
